La condición de la piel de nuestro hijo cambió nuestras vidas...
Su piel sensible no toleraba nada—aplicarle cremas solo traía lágrimas y gritos de dolor. Las noches las pasábamos consolándolo mientras se rascaba hasta que su piel sangraba. Verlo sufrir era devastador, y nada parecía funcionar.
En mis 20, dejé Puerto Rico en busca de mejores oportunidades, pero nunca esperé enfrentar algo así. Cuando los tratamientos tradicionales nos fallaron, recurrí a lo que sentí más natural—nuestras raíces. Me sumergí en el mundo de la sanación holística, aprendiendo todo lo que podía para crear algo suave, calmante y efectivo para mi hijo. Tras muchos intentos, finalmente encontré una fórmula que le trajo alivio. Ver cómo su piel se suavizaba y cómo dormía tranquilo nos devolvió la esperanza.
Este journey se convirtió en nuestro propósito. Mi esposo se unió a mí, y juntos construimos Scrachee—un negocio familiar dedicado a ayudar a otros a encontrar consuelo y alivio.
Scrachee es más que cuidado de la piel—se trata de recuperar noches de sueño, días sin preocupaciones y tranquilidad.

Discovering Topical Steroid Addiction, The Withdrawal & Our Turning Point
I later learned he was going through Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) — a devastating process from prolonged steroid use. I dove into research, studied non-stop, and began formulating our own skincare products from our tiny apartment. We changed everything: the products we used, the foods we ate, even the way we approached stress and healing.
By 2021, my son’s skin was finally healing. We found comfort in the products I created and the lifestyle shifts we embraced. And by June 2022, Scrachee was born ... created from our hardest nights, our story, and the hope to light a better path for other families walking through the same darkness.
I can’t rewrite our story. But I can change someone else’s.
Today, Scrachee exists to offer what we once needed most: safe products, real education, and a reminder that sensitive skin deserves more ... more patience, more understanding, and true, lasting comfort.
